Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish – optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked through.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then shred using two forks.
Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3: Combine the Chicken and Sauce
- Return the shredded chicken to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter sauce.
- Stir in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt and coat the chicken mixture evenly.
Step 4: Assemble the Wraps
- Warm the tortillas slightly in the microwave or skillet to make them pliable.
- Divide the cheesy garlic chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
Step 5: Toast the Wraps (Optional)
- For a crispy texture, heat a clean skillet over medium heat.
- Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and toast for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Step 6: Serve
- Slice the wraps in half.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
