Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish – optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Chicken

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked through.
  4. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then shred using two forks.

Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 3: Combine the Chicken and Sauce

  1. Return the shredded chicken to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter sauce.
  2. Stir in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt and coat the chicken mixture evenly.

Step 4: Assemble the Wraps

  1. Warm the tortillas slightly in the microwave or skillet to make them pliable.
  2. Divide the cheesy garlic chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each.
  3. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.

Step 5: Toast the Wraps (Optional)

  1. For a crispy texture, heat a clean skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and toast for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Step 6: Serve

  1. Slice the wraps in half.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!
